Goldey-Beacom College approached DesignDesign shortly after the college transitioned from a business school to a traditional college. With such a major structural change to the program, it was a great time to rebrand. Ultimately, GBC wanted an image that “looks like a real college,” to attract high school students across the region, establishing a larger student body.

DesignDesign began by developing a new series of logo and tagline options, collaborating with GBC’s marketing and executive teams to refine the college’s complete identity system. From the refinement of typography and the color palette, to the design of infographics (replacing large areas of text with visuals), GBC immediately saw a return on their investment with twice the enrollment numbers less than two years after the rebranding was launched to the public.
Over the past five years, DesignDesign has revamped all of GBC’s literature, redesigned the public-facing website, held two photo shoots, designed signage for the Athletics department and we are currently working on the interior signage for GBC’s newly constructed buildings and dorms (the influx of new students has prompted the construction of a new dorm building and a large addition to the college’s main building).
